Yes, they say russian grammar is hard to learn, but in some period of time you'll be able to master it anyway. I have 3 gues from Ghana in my group in University, they began to use russian fluently after about 3 years, know one of them is one of the best student in our group:) How do you manage your studies? Medicine is all about learning by heart first years, as It seems to me.
I live in Novosibirsk, it's in Syberia, at the other side of Urals.
