I used to use InterPals a few years ago, and made some great friends with whom I'm still in contact. I've decided to resurrect my profile, so let's see if you're all the same type of weird and wonderful people I remember!

I prefer to try and aim for long-term, meaningful friendships with people as opposed to just the usual "hey how r u" kinda messages. :)
Snail-mail is usually my preference, but I'm open to all forms of communication!

About me? I work in I.T. here in the North-West of England (not far from Manchester, and NO, I don't support Man U haha). At heart I'm just a liberal, tree-hugging, 420-friendly vegetarian hippie! I love everybody, so whatever your race, religion, colour, creed or even species, let me know what you're all about!

I am completely fluent in English, of course. I also speak Welsh (a very old regional language of the UK) so happy to teach you a little bit! It may look crazy, but I assure you, it's easy once you've got the basics.

I can communicate in German, but I am not fluent. I can hold a conversation though, and usually get the right message across, but you'll have to excuse my errors (please correct them).

Driving the the middle of nowhere, throwing up a tent and escaping day-to-day life! Listening to all kinds of music, ranging from Pink Floyd to Skepta to RHCP to Alberosie! Self-admitted music-o-holic. Learning new, mostly pointless skills or pieces of knowledge. Cooking (exclusively vegetarian though!)

Haha, now you've got me. It's not possible to list my favourite artists, so I'll go by genre. If I'm awake for 16 hours a day, at least 12 of that is spent listening to music

Rock (Pink Floyd, Ozzy, Black Sabbeth mostly, some "newer" stuff like arctic monkeys, RHCP is alright too)
Reggae (Collie Buddz, Damien Marley, Alberosie etc etc)
Grime (Devilman, Rhyme Asylum, Lowkey, Mic Righteous a lot of not-famous-outside-the-UK stuff)
Folk and a bit of Country - mostly at festivals though - that's the hippie in me I guess!

The odd comedy (Hot Fuzz etc), but not a massive watcher of TV.

24, Breaking Bad, Narcos etc. Hit me up with some suggestions!

Non-fiction generally, mostly history and culture-related stuff, but anything a bit weird or unusual. The more clinically insane the writer, the more interesting the book. Open to recommendations!
