It's peanuts for Germans to learn any language or, re-learn any language from the past!
Who knows, perhaps you'd like to "recover" the Portuguese language. I bet you'd get in tune with it in a couple of months, or even less.!

I worked as "managing director" in an automotive plant in Braga. At that time (long time ago) I was able to speak portuguese quite well, but nearly lost everything because I spend 4 to 5 months of the year in Spain and I speak a lot of spanish. When I try to speak portuguese spanish comes out. I think I need to go to Portugal to recover.
