well i dont know anything abt that, since vaisakhi is celebrated for the reason of it being the harvesting time of the year and the onset of spring. as for songkran is a invitation for coolness in summer or smth, i have no idea. however interesting thing is in india, they splash color as they call Holi festival which is mid of march, and in Thailand, they splash water.
well if u r in bkk, i can take u to buy a couple of good punjabi movies with eng sub. u might like them, i will show u the sikh temple too, ok?

i cud be bias in my description, friend. i love Punjab and ts culture which is a beautiful thing for me. Punjabis are well known for their hospitality and as a guest in a punjabi house, you would feel like you are truly at home. The other thing is the simple Punjabi lifestyle in the villages and the wonderful Punjabi festivals such as Lohri which just passed and Vaisakhi which is coming on the April 13 or 14th of every year. Punjabis are considered as hard working, loyal and honest ppl. The Bollywood or Indian cinema is dominated by Punjabis while the small state is credited to feed the whole of the country.As I said I cud be bias.

well i had been in Punjab and was studying in Himachal Pradesh for 8 years. you been to wonderful places but wud have love punjab as its one of the most wonderful area...alrite i am a bit bias but it truly is. well rayong is truly breath taking and not corrupted as pattaya is yet. have a great weekend mate

i am good and well moonday means the feeling on monday that is wanting to relax at home and hate coming to work =P, well the sea at pattaya is ok although the beach at rayong is way more beautiful and clean. i however miss the hills as i studied from india in hilly area for 8 years. you dont travel much around thailand?

chiang mai is a beautiful place, i have been there many times and recently it was last year for Songkran. well RCA is ok although I hardly go there now, I was in pattaya to meet old friends from australia. hope u r not having a bad case of Moonday liek I do now =P.
