Spaghetti Western movies …..what a surprise (?). Thought the Mustangs were the ones used in Western Movies. Yes, Portugal is regarded as a lovely Country and, for foreigners it's "peanuts" if you get my drift.

Interesting about the languages. I have heard Portugal is a lovely place. I have a friend who has a Lusitano. Iberian horses are quite distinct in conformation and movement. They were used in the "spaghetti western" movies made in the 60s and 70s with actors such as Clint Eastwood.

Yes, it is They are! Neighbours! The Portuguese are language gifted, so to speak. The Portuguese understand Spanish quite well. I wouldn't say the same for the Spanish who are not so gifted. It's Gold Visa and not Golden Visa (my mistake). The Lusitanian Horses are breathtaking , bought and taken to many foreign countries.

Wish I had the talent and knowledge to do such a thing.

Sounds like a nice place. Is Portuguese close enough to Spanish that it wouldn't be too difficult for someone who speaks Spanish?
