I have been here for three years so it's about time to refresh my profile:

I've recently turned 29 (time really flies) but this isn't a big deal as everyone knows men don't get old, they just get sexier (sorry girls but that's the pure truth..ask any man in the world) and, anyway, I feel so comfortable with my age, I think I am gonna be 29 for the next two or three years.

I live in a little, cosy village near Milan whose name is Boffalora Sopra Ticino, which literary means Boffalora Upon Ticino (a river), exactly like Rostov on Don or Stratford Upon Avon, wit the only difference we have no river going through Boffalora (though it's some few kilometers far away). We have instead an artificial channel which reaches Milan (in the past it was used as a sort of water high way to transport goods and people to and from the city. This got lost in modern times till a couple of years ago when we though to organize little cruises on the old wooden boat to attract tourists. We can't compete yet with international cruise line companies but it's still something for a place of less than 4,000 people). With the passing of time I developed my own theory about the oddness of our name: it was due to safety reasons. Imagine for a second an army willing to invade us:

Invaders: - Hey we are here to invade Boffalora Sopra Ticino-
Inhabitants: - We are afraid  you are in the wrong place, there's no Ticino here, just a small channel with few little boats-
Invaders: - Oh, if so we'd better go. Sorry for bothering. Take care-

Well, actually there are no historic proofs to support it but neither to deny it, so why not?

As you might have noticed I tend to have a peculiar sense of humor (if you ask my friends, they would define it as "shitty") and to stray..well, the fact is I like to play with words, create puns (of course not all of them turn out with the hole). I consider irony one of the greatest things humans have but I admit I some times slip into cynicism.

My biggest dream is to become a writer, or at least to write something worthing to be written, as I love stories (after all, life is just a sequel of stories) but I had no success yet, unless you think this profile is worth the bits it's made of.

Before landing here on Interpals I graduated in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation just to discover it was the biggest mistake of my life (which is a great thing I know). I spent a year working in Florida in the Disney parks: you know, Minnie, Mickey Mouse, Goofy, your dreams coming true, underpaid people..no wait, this is usually skipped in advertisements, and as I don't want to risk to spoil someone the magical mental idea I'll just tell you it was one of the great experience in my life..after all (I know, someone of you might think I have a pretty miserable life, and it's actually not that exciting in these latest years but believe me I had a great time).

Well, as all the good things come to an end (cit Nelly Furtado) I came back to my homeland and bumped into the most boring and repetitive job ever: the forwarding agent. If someone of you is considering it, listen to me, don't! Fortunately I also managed to find another call job (no, I'm definitely not a call boy, I wish I was..I'd earn much better if not) at the airport as tourist assistant for a cruise line company (not the one of Boffalora). I meet people from all over the world and it happens to speak up to five languages in the same morning..I really love it. So, at the end of the day I'm pretty lucky. The chances to have two jobs here in Italy nowadays aren' t much lower than to win the lottery twice, and well,  of course I would have preferred to win two times one million euros than getting two jobs but you can't have all in life.

I'm trying to hang in while looking for something else. I'd like to teach Italian abroad and am considering to get the qualifications required. I have already taught to foreigners (to friends and some refugees) so if someone needs help, I'll be glad to do as captain Hook did and give a hand ...metaphorically speaking (I bet now you understand my friends' point).
 
I have recently started to attend a strange and mysterious place called gym. I skip it more than I should but I go on going to and that's already a result for me. I have noticed most of men here work out or have pics showing their muscles. Now that I train too, I have become a real man...I even know how to tie a tie (which is slightly different than to tie a Thai... deplorable humor part two). I'm afraid you'll have to wait a bit for the ehiyou!lookhowcoolIamwithoutmyshirt pictures, sorry...in the meanwhile I'll try to solve a doubt that torments my mind day and night, chest hair: yes or not?

I request everyone of you to send me 10 euros (the equivalent in your local currency is also well accepted as gold, stock exchange titles, diamonds and so on). No, that's not the umpteenth attempt to worm money out of you: I am proposing the greatest bargain of your life. How many are we on this site? Let's say around 30,000? All you 29,999 people need to do is to send me that 10 euros (I'll add mine, no problem).  What can you buy with 10 euros? Most of us almost nothing...now I tell you can have a house. 10 by 30,000 is 300,000 euros (please double check as I suck in maths). I'll take the burden to buy a house and to live in (to grant its maintenance) and you will be able to stop every time you'll be in Italy. Can you imagine? A house in Italy for just 10 euros...do not let go this chance, you won't have another!!  For my IBAN feel free to ask privately.

However, if you are still so crazy not to grasp this wonderful opportunity you might still help me with languages, which I go crazy for. I speak English and German, even if not as fluently as I'd like to (apropos jede Hilfe mit Deutsch wird sehr sehr gesch

Here is a short list of things I love: travelling, taking pictures (I have just bought a Canon EOS 100D and it's the closest thing I have so far to new born child: you're very proud, show it to all your friends and relatives, but you still don't know how to handle it properly), nature, my family, my friends (few but good), dogs (they are the closest creatures to God, love you even when you don't deserve it), food (to eat but also to cook), beer, chocolate, snow, water, the colour blue  and azzurro (the Italian variant on light blue), music, movies, history, countryside, geography, ships and trains, books, backpacks and passports (maybe because they are related to the idea of travelling), arts, fireplaces and fire in general (I love to burn things), rain, the smell of gasoline, castles, volleyball and so on, and so on, and so on.
