About Me
My profile was lame before, so here goes:

I live on the edge. I challenge myself to try new things. Fear is a mindset, most of the time it's irrational. Confident liar, English charm, I open a lot of doors for people, and not only in the gentlemanly way.

My ambition is to live in Australia, develop property, own several businesses, and eventually be a great family man. Immediate future though is based purely on enjoyment and little responsibility or commitment.

I studied criminology at university, one day I'd like to use some of the knowledge I gained from that. Is being in the police the way to do that? Not anymore. Authority should be respected, but that creates the internal problems in the force. Let me stress, I'm not an anarchist or someone who goes out to break the law. Illegal drugs? Not for me but I understand others views on the most popular. Legal highs? Grow up.

I'm self-taught acoustic guitar although I'm considering lessons to get a little bit better. I can play bits and pieces though so I'm not terrible, just don't ask me to sing, you'll regret it.

I guess you could call me a wannabe Aussie. I wish I was an Aussie and had grown up there, but hopefully some day soon I'll be moving there permanently and forcing my kids to make up for my lost Australian childhood by forcing them into competitive sports. Lived in Melbourne for 3 months and absolutely loved it! The lifestyle there suits me down to a tee. I'm laid back, casual and just enjoy having a good time.

I had a bucket list, but it had a hole in it.
Requests
If you're going to talk to me and English is your first language then please please please use proper grammar and spelling! I can tolerate the odd typo here and there, or maybe misspelling a difficult word to spell, but "tlkn lyk dis" or using numbers - no ta. If you're just learning English then ignore this, it's only reasonable to assume you haven't quite mastered grammar yet, especially if you're here to improve your English.
Hobbies & Interests
I'm a massively sporty person, willing to give pretty much any sport a good go. Mainly football (or soccer for you American folk) is my muse. Also a fan of playing tennis and rugby.

But now. It's all about Aussie Rules Football. That's right Australian girls, I'm a footy player.

I love travelling, and so far I've been lucky to have been to a fair few countries. Can't wait to add to the list though. So far I've been to:
France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, Poland, Czech Republic, Belgium, USA, Canada, Kenya, Tanzania (sort of), Hong Kong (sort of) and Australia :D Next on the list is any country in South America, but definitely Chile, with a trip out to Easter Island while I'm over there.

I'm by no means the model Christian but I do believe in God and Jesus. If this bothers you then you should have a look at why it bothers you, and deal with it because you'll meet a lot of people like me in your life. If you want a religion vs science debate then feel free to go elsewhere, I get enough of it from my housemate already, although if you really want it, then be prepared for my fairly unique argument that sees science and religion as more of a marriage than as enemies.
Favorite Music
I like almost ALL kinds, it really depends on my mood as to what genre I listen to. Recently there has been a lot of indie/alternative been playing through my speakers. Although I have no time for screamo - it's just not nice to listen to. Plan B, by the way, is brilliant!
Favorite Movies
Enjoy a good action film with some kind of cleverness behind it, and for that reason Crash is a phenomenal film! Layer Cake is bloody good too! Also got quite the collection of comedy films in my stack of DVDs
Favorite TV Shows
South Park, Family Guy and American Dad are up there with the best things I watch. Can't help but love a bit of How I Met Your Mother though. New Girl is freaking hilarious and Big Bang Theory is one of the most watchable shows.
Favorite Books
I don't read as much as I should but being English I've obviously read Harry Potter. Big fan of almost all of the Dan Brown books but Fahrenheit 451 is the best book I've read I reckon.
Favorite Quotes
"Show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser" - (loosely) John McEnroe

"The best feeling in the world is proving people wrong" - someone, somewhere.

"One day baby we'll be old, oh baby we'll be old, and think of all the stories that we could have told" Asaf Avidan

"Life begins at the end of your comfort zone" - someone on here
