First of all I'm not sure how I was being disrespectful. You on the other hand seem extremely bitter. All I asked you was a few questions so that I could learn from someone had been there, you know, as opposed to the only other sources of information available that according to you are all wrong.

I have read that FAQ a while ago, but why would I believe a FAQ written by a government anymore so than I would believe a documentary or information provided by other governments?

I never said that YOU were kicked out, but perhaps I should have used more correct English by saying "one". I was only curious about the ability to criticize the government, which I personally think is extremely important in any country. And I don't just mean tourists. I was more interested in the ability of the citizens to criticize their own government.

To be honest I'm not really interested in continuing this discourse. You obviously have quite the hatred for the western economic and social policies and that brings into question the neutrality of your opinions about North Korea. You don't seem any less biased than any other form of information I have found.

The only documentary I have watched that was made by an actual corporation was one by National Geographic. The documentary was about a doctor helping a bunch of North Koreans see again and training North Korean doctors so they could continue to do the eye surgery. Every other documentary I have seen has not been produced by a corporation, most have just been random youtube videos that have no vested interest in whether or not they promote North Korea. The North Korean government obviously does have quite the interest in making North Korea look good, which is why I never used that FAQ as a legitimate source of information.

I don't expect you to respond, but if you do I have two last questions. Most visitors (you seem to be an exception) have to be part of a guided tour the whole trip. What is North Korea so afraid that visit

Anyways I hope you aren't mad about my questions. I don't really trust any government and I'm just trying to figure out what is going on with North Korea.

I admit I'm really confused now. I had spoken to someone else, in person, about her experience in North Korea and her observations seem to contradict with yours, as do all the documentaries I have watched. Of course documentaries obviously can easily be slanted to favor a view. I plan to visit North Korea, but since I will be on a tour the whole time I have my doubts that I would ever see the real North Korea.

I admit that my knowledge of North Korea has really only come from documentaries, but based on what is said and displayed in the documentaries it seems to conflict with what you have said.

Your second point about propaganda. Isn't there anti-american propaganda everywhere in North Korea? And the fact that you get kicked out, even if the negative things you are saying are untrue, seems like a bad thing to me.

So where can I get real information about North Korea?
