Genesis 4:3-5 After some time Cain made an offering to the Lord of the fruits of the earth;
and Abel on his part made him one of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. The Lord looked favorably upon Abel and his offering;
but he did not look at Cain and his offering.
A devoted heart, obedient to his word; in the presence of God. '
‘Cain didn’t have a dispositioned heart to please God. '
Hosea 14:1-2 Israel, return to the Lord your God, for you have fallen by your iniquity.
Take words with you, and return to the Lord. Say unto Him: Forgive all transgressions, and receive us bountifully! Instead of bulls we will offer you the tribute of our lips.
Genesis 4:6-7 And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou angry, and why is thy face fallen down?
Surely, if thou doest well, thou shalt lift up thy face: but if thou doest evil, sin layeth at the door, and its desires be upon thee: but thou, have dominion over him.
'Cain did not listen to the counsel of God, blinded by his pride. '
"A very great lesson for all of us who often act quickly without thinking, instead of keeping quiet and seeing to better understand what God's word teaches us." ''
Ephesians 5:1-2 "Be therefore imitators of God,"
like beloved children;
and walk in love, as Christ loved us, and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice.
Hebrews 10:5-7 Therefore Christ, going into the world, said, Thou wanted neither sacrifice nor offering, but thou formed me one body;
You didn't commit holocaust or sacrifice to sin.
Then I said, Behold, I come (In the roll of the book it's about me) To do, O God, Thy will.
John 6:40 The will of my Father is that whoever sees the Son and believes in him has eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
“Cain failed to listen and obey God’s advice. ''
“Today; let us listen, for our food, our daily bread, is to do the will of him that sent us into the world, and to do his work.” ''
Maranatha! Come Lord Jesus!

Isaiah 26:20-21 New International Version (NIV)

20
Go, my people, enter your rooms
and shut the doors behind you;
hide yourselves for a little while
until his wrath has passed by.
21
See, the Lord is coming out of his dwelling
to punish the people of the earth for their sins.
The earth will disclose the blood shed on it;
the earth will conceal its slain no longer.

Dear Brethren,

 "Better is the end of a thing than its beginning." (Ecclesiastes 7:8).

The team that can come from behind in the last moments to win excites us even more than the team that constantly wins by scoring big in the first part of the game.The Lord Jesus made the most amazing comeback the world has ever seen. After being humiliated, insulted, spit upon, whipped, beaten, and nailed to a cross, His executioners claimed victory and declared Him dead. A military guard secured His tomb. How could anyone be more down and out than that?Yet the struggle was not over; it was only the beginning. Three days later, He rose from the grave and reappeared as the Victor over sin, death, and ****. And He was honored and glorified and set at the right hand of God - a comeback like no other in all of history.If you feel out of the running today think about Jesus' suffering. Ponder His resurrection. No matter how far down you are, ask Him to give you the victory. Just imagine what He has to offer you.
Have a wonderful day.
Love.

Good Morning Everyone,
"You do not know what will happen tomorrow" (James 4:14).
" I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day" (2 Tim. 1:12).
In November 1975, the huge freighter Edmond Fitzgerald sank in the cold waters of Lake Superior during a fierce storm. Only a week before the tragedy, chief steward Robert Rafferty had written to his wife, "I may be home by November 8. However, nothing is ever sure." The prophetic irony of his words was noted in a newspaper article listing the 29 crew members who perished in the disaster.
Not a day passes without a reminder that our earthly life can end at any moment. But we who are in Christ, fear no death, for He is the anchor of our souls. Does earthly life seem futile because "nothing is ever sure"? Trusting Christ provides a joyous certainty about eternity.
Like Paul, even as he faced death, he had no misgivings. He trusted the One who is able. Christ was his Almighty Lord, and with Him there could be no defeat or failure!

Good morning,

Many believers are often greatly deceived by things in this world. We read books that deceive and hinder us. The world has its heroes and its great men - men of wonderful abilities and genius - and we may read books that speak of them, and get to admire them, and think highly of them, without pausing to ask ourselves whether God has any pleasure in them. In this way we come to admire moral qualities which are exactly opposite to the character of the lowly and holy qualities of Christ. We need more distinct breach between our hearts and the world, and men of the world. Think of the gracious and holy character of Christ! He "made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross" (Phil. 2:7-8).
That is the pathway of One who yielded nothing but good pleasure to the heart of God. May He work in us the willing and the doing of His good pleasure.
Good day
Romeos.

INSPIRATIONAL STORIES

THINGS ARE NOT ALWAYS WHAT THEY SEEM
Two traveling angels stopped to spend the night in the home of a wealthy family. The family was rude and refused to let the angels stay in the mansion's guest room. Instead they were given a small space in the cold basement. As they made a bed on the hard floor, the older angel saw a hole in the wall and repaired it. When the younger angel asked why, the older angel replied, "Things are not always what they seem."
The next night the angels came to rest at the house of a very poor, but very hospitable farmer and his wife. After sharing what little food they had the couple let the angels sleep in their bed where they could have a good night's rest. When the sun came up the next morning the angels found the farmer and his wife in tears. Their only cow, whose milk had been their sole income, lay dead in the field. The younger angel was infuriated and asked the older angel, "How could you have let this happen? The first family had everything, yet you helped them. The second family had little but was willing to share everything, and you let the cow die. Why?"
"Things are not always what they seem." the older angel replied. "When we stayed in the basement of the mansion, I noticed there was gold stored in that hole in the wall. Since the family was so greedy and unwilling to share in their good fortune, I sealed the wall so they wouldn't find it. Then last night when we slept in the farmer's bed, the angel of death came for his wife. I gave him the cow instead."
Things are not always what they seem. If you have faith and a good heart, you just need to trust that every outcome is always to your advantage. You might not know it until sometime later.
Good day!

Good Morning Everyone,
"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also" (John 14:3).
Last time we learned about the second reason for our hearts not to be troubled.
Third, for the comfort of our hearts, the Lord sets before us His coming again to receive us into the home. His coming will indeed end our wilderness journey. It will heal all the breaches among the people of God; it will gather together the divided and scattered saints. It will end the sorrows, the trials, and the labors of His people. It will take us out of a scene of darkness and death and usher us into a home of light and life and love. But above all else, it will bring us into the company of the Lord Jesus. As He can say, "I will receive you unto Myself that where I am there you may be also." We learn, in these words of the Lord, the deep desire of His heart to have His people with Himself for the joy and satisfaction of His own heart. He wants our company. He is the object of our faith in heaven, we are the objects of His love on earth.
What comfort for troubled hearts: Christ in the glory our unfailing resource; a home in the glory that awaits us; and a Man in the glory that wants us and will come to "fetch" us!
In His Grip,
Romoes
