Hi Rasha!

How have you been lately?

As you noticed I haven't been on interpals for a long time. Sorry about that. School was starting to get on my nerves! And I just came back from vacation :)

Well about what I told you. I told you about my own culture and that was the culture of my own country, Suriname. We have some differences with the Dutch culture. But like you said the Dutch culture is almost the same like in America.

Hello Rasha! =)

Haha, just what I thought about America. I would love to experience it again. I went there at the age of.. uuhm 5 or something. But I can only remember some little things.

Hmm, in my culture we are very religious. We do a lot with spirits. We have so called 'winti prei's ' Where we dance to cultural music for our spirits. It's very complicated xD
On birthdays we invite all family and good friens and then hire a band to play some Suriname music. But that's only when there is enough money :P If not, We just cook some of our famous dishes and invite some close family to come over.
Here in the Netherlands we are famous for the strict parenting xD

Just some things that came in my mind. If you want to know more just ask me! :)

Grtz!

Hello Rasha!

My name is Genita, nice to meet you :)
Yeah, ofcourse! Well Amsterdam is a city where you can find all different cultures living together. Mostly in peace xD
The people here are very social. What I love about Amsterdam are the weird things that happens here. People here are funny and strange xD

Hmm, my culture.. I don't know what to say about my culture :P What would you like to know?? :)

Could you tell me something about your city? And what would you like to do in your spare time? =)

Grtz! and you're welcome ;P

Hello hellooooo, how about a new penpal from Germany, huh? I know, I'm old but I'm a big goofball and I dont spend my evenings in a rocking chair knitting a cardigan or something...
anyhow, where in the USA do you live? What state does Rock Hill belong to?
Well, would be nice to hear from you =)
Cheers!

This was like....5-8 years ago, I forget with my old age but yea celebs are definately here lol. Lenox has changed up a bit, it's a bit more expensive to shop but still worth a good look. Underground Atlanta is more a tourist attraction, but I think it needs better store.

Oh yea, I believe I'll be much happier than and hopefully start my clothing business there. I'll drink almost any soda but I love root beer the most. When I used to work at the mall, I saw 50cent, Eminem, Jay Z, Jermaine Dupree, Outkast, T.I. lord too many to count lol.

Pretty much, my family came from Guyana, South America, moved up to the U.S. and somehow my parents shimmied down to GA. It's been good here, no snow, coke cola, parties, celebrities, cars I can't afford but I'd love to move to California.
