Okay, so maybe I took almost five months to respond to a single-sentence message you left me complimenting my taste in music. That's beside the point! In fact, it's five months behind the point. The point is, thank you! Most of my friends are DJs at KDVS, UC Davis' radio station, so they're all obscenely literate in music and I'm often left feeling like a twit because I don't routinely listen to bands who only put out a single record in 1963. Of course, all of them still like the bands I like (how couldn't they? I mean, look at that list), but the point is it's nice to have someone share my taste without immediately comparing every band to one I've never heard of.

Wait, you're not going to compare all of my favorite bands to ones I've never heard of, are you? Hell.
