Living here in Japan is pretty simple and nice. I live in a city 30 to 40 minutes of train ride away from the metropolitan area of Tokyo, but it’s very quiet and peaceful. Less ups and downs. People look pretty happy. I am happy. One thing I noticed recently, though, things are getting a little expensive these days.

I’ve never been to Austin, Texas, but my teacher in high school Ms Davis came from Austin, and she taught me a lot about English and life in Texas. She loved country music and let me have chances to listen to them. I naturally became fond of country music and I love listening to the program American Country Countdown on radio. The radio program is on air usually on Sunday afternoon here in Japan.
