it's one weird *** language that sounds like they are casting spells on each other, even "i love you" sounds like a (possibly evil) spell

Chennai is.. different from the places I've lived in earlier. No one understand Hindi, and we don't speak Tamil, so we've gotten very good at communicating via gestures. And the food and stuff. How people talk, dress, live. Not bad, just different.
