Hi. I'm interested in learning slovak because my family is originally from Slovakia. However, everyone that spoke it has passed on. My father is still alive, but doesn't remember much, not enough to teach.

yea, well like latvia and lithuania are sisters, lithuania and poland are totally not :D
yea, architectural engineering, cool, great, and difficult :/ (the mechanical part..)

I want to learn Slovak because my Dad's side of the family is Slovakian. They immigrated to USA from the former Czechoslovakia. So I thought it would be cool to know my heritage more.
