Hey everybody. I hope my profile is interesting enough to get a message or a response from you guys.

My name's Victor. I'm a Brazilian guy who lives in an average neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro. Though I've not majored in International Relations and I don't plan to do so, I'm a future diplomat and a self-proclaimed cultural ambassador :)

My native language is Portuguese, not Spanish. De hecho, I would appreciate some help once and then from los hermanos hispánicos jaja sobretodo los mexicanos, pues que es mi variación predilecta.

I'm not quite fluent in English, but I can say I'm almost there. My Spanish is... upper-intermediate, I'd say. I can honestly understand almost everything I hear in Mexican Spanish. I can understand some written Russian, Chinese, French, Italian and German (though I'm not going to study German for a while). Also, I'm interested in learning Japanese, Korean, Polish and Arabic (plus every other language that I can) sometime later.

Making friends from other countries is like a hobby to me. I've made quite a lot through my previous profile on Interpals, from countries such as Russia, China, the US, Kazakhstan, Venezuela, Mexico, Belarus, Ukraine, Syria, Iran, Spain, Germany, Azerbaijan, England, and others.

I wouldn't mind talking to people from any country at all. Despite my preference for certain countries (mostly Eastern), I don't care where you live as long as we can meet at some point in the future. Chatting online is all good, but meeting in person is the climax of a virtual friendship and I wouldn't be talking to anybody who I wouldn't plan to meet later on.

I'm looking mostly (but not only, if you can catch my drift) for long-lasting friendships. If by any chance, you're planning to visit Rio de Janeiro and would like to make friends with a local, it'll be a joy and an honor to talk to you.

Come to think of it... yes, I do have one request. It's really frustrating to try to keep up a conversation with somebody who doesn't seem to be interested in talking to you, so... if I'm boring you, just tell me already and I'll leave you alone. I didn't come here to make interviews :/ I'm a great listener and I love to ask questions to make people feel important, but I truly dislike to feel unimportant in exchange.

And also, I'm not one of these uber-popular guys with +10 "handsome" comments per pic, so if you're exclusively interested in that kind of people, I think you'll be disappointed :D

My main hobbies are to play video games and to study Math, World History, and languages. The last one is more of an addiction than a hobby XD And by the way, Final Fantasy X has the best story in the gaming world. Period.

My biggest dream is to travel around the world. But... sometimes I wonder whether it'll always be just a dream or not. I'm legit horrified to see how expensive airplane tickets can be :/

I don't watch TV often. But I would say South Park and Japanese anime (my favorites are Saint Seiya and Naruto). And Mexican soap operas, por supuesto :D Angelique Boyer is my favorite actress.

I really like classical literature. My favorite book so far is Преступление и Наказание.
