Hello Elena , I’m Jacques from Paris , fluent in English (having spent several years in Canada and in the US ) . I also enjoy pretty much speaking in Spanish (I love spanish songs and Poetry ) . But guess what : my favourite language is german even though I did’t have the chance to practice it during the past 20 years ! I started to learn Russian about a year ago but I stop after 2 weeks for lack of time . I’d very happy to restart !
Let me tell you a bit more about myself . I am involved in higher education in engineering school in Paris and concurrently I’m an assistant pastor.. My main dream is to become a writer . Travelling and writing are closely linked for me , probably because of my World citizen mindset. Social justice is also an important issue for me . All my friends tell me that I have a very good sense of humour and that I could have been a good actor . I like very much having fun and telling jokes and making others laughing . Bursting in laughter is so important for human life is both dramatic and comic in a certain way because of the human condition , though “comic” doesn’t mean “absurd “ at all . You know what I mean I suppose : For the search for happiness depends indeed on the overall life significance . Besides , I believe kindness, generosity and …. Indulgence are so important either to cope with others’ idiosyncrasy ! May I ask you what are the most important moral and spiritual values in your life or let’s say your main interests ? I wouldn’t mind if you could also tell me a bit more about your academic background and your current job and/or your creative-artistic activity . Looking forward to reading from you !
