Do this way: go to SETTINGS>>>PRIVACY and, towards the bottom of the page, uncheck where it says "Show my profile in searches". This way people won't see you online and the number of messages that you get will drop. At the same time you will still be able to write to whomever you wish.

Tanyaaaa!!! Too many messages! Remove your pics and you won't get any message anymore! You can create a private album where only your friends can see your pics, no need for others to see them. And write on your profile that YOU ARE MARRIED; this will save you some of those b/s pick up lines so common here.
