Hi! My name is Sia. I have been learning English for 8 years now and I would like to improve my skills, get to know other cultures and lifestyles of other countries, and also find new friends! I will be happy to help all Russian language learners too, since I am a native speaker of this language.

Language Exchange Requests

I would like to find an interesting, responsive and honest person who can help me or who needs help. And if I meet new friends, there will be no limit to my happiness! I was always "called" and attracted to other countries and I often asked questions "How do people live there?", "How do they communicate?", "How does their culture differ from ours?" I don't really understand foreign culture, but I really want to know it, because "How many languages you know - that many times you are a person"!

Hobbies & Interests

So, I really love volleyball, and I have 4 years of successful practice behind me. I'm interested in talking about sports, learning something new. I am also interested in journalism and am a correspondent for our school newspaper. I also play the guitar, dance and love to draw! If you share my interests, I will be happy to chat with you, and if not, it's okay! I am a very curious and "open" person.

Of course, I like pop music, and I also listen to rock or jazz, depending on my mood. I'm perfectly open to other genres! As they say in our country: "All markers taste and color different!"

What about the Avengers or Marvel in general, huh? It all started many, many years ago, when I "dug up" comics, but this is a completely different story) I am inspired by fantasy, the Lord of the Rings, the Hobbit, I do not deny myself cartoons: The Grinch and all that. The same as with books - the number of my favorite movies is incalculable. But I really like to discuss them, so welcome!

I love reading detective stories and am a huge fan of the work of such writers as Arthur Conan Doyle, James Fenimore Cooper, Louise May Alcott, Jules Verne, Herman Melville - the list is simply endless, I love reading too much! I also understand my native literature, I read both classics and modern fiction.
