My name is David and I'm from the USA. I am here to chat with people and get to know folks from other countries. Also, I'm NOT here to teach English to people. I am NOT an English teacher and if you want to learn English, take some English classes or get an English instructor. I'm looking for pen pals. Please don't ask right away for further contact information since I will not start talking to strangers via WhatsApp or Skype, for example, and I will not give out my other personal information right away. As soon as I consider you a friend, I'm totally fine with sharing more information, though. And, I don't use any other apps for chatting. Writing on here works out totally fine in my opinion and I would love to have a traditional PenPal where letters are exchanged.

Hobbies & Interests

I am an avid international skeet shooter and I like to garden, which is a lot more work than what most people realize! I also like to do home repairs and am pretty handy around the house. I am also a scuba diver and take a week-long diving trip each year. I have two rules for scuba diving: 1) I only go to a destination one time, so, I have a passport full of different destinations and 2) I only scuba dive in warm water, which means most destinations are in the Caribbean!

Favorite Music

I like all kinds of music, from classical to jazz to bluegrass to rock-and-roll. I like Enya a lot and I also like electronic violin players, such as Caitlyn DeVille and Vanessa-Mae.

Favorite TV Shows

I'm not a big TV watcher. I like informational shows, such as 60 minutes, 20/20, and things like that.

Favorite Books

I really enjoy Robin Cook as an author and he writes medical horror stories.
