Hmm I had heard of Spondon before but wasn't too sure where abouts it was on the map so I just had a little look on google, it's pretty close to Notts! I was going to say that my Mum is from Ripley and so are all that side of the family (so I'm half...derbyshireish) and that I've been to the Peak District many many times, but then I realised that neither are actually very close to Derby itself so it wouldn't be of any interest...hum! Do you come to Nottingham often anyways?
I live in a village called 'Burton Joyce' which is just on the outskirts of the city, famous for it's O.A.P population and whatnot.

I don't really know...Hmmm...You can swim..in summer of course. We have at least about 4 beaches. What else? Sailing for example...and all that things you can do in Warsaw..:P
