If you feel like talking: I see that you say you're interested in U.S. history. What interests you about it? Have you ever read the blog at Atlantic.com by Ta-Nehisi Coates? He is an amazing writer (teaches a class at MIT) and he frequently discusses American history. :)

We had to learn 2 years of a language, but they did not teach us very much in high school. That was before university.
