Wow!  I figured I should update my profile to let you all know what I'm looking for....it's been over a year since my last update!

I am 35 years old and engaged to a wonderful man, so I'm just looking for some female snail mail pals.  Seriously, guys, not looking for anything except female pals.  I've only been on this site again for about a week and half or so and have already had messages and guys adding me to their friends list...  Thank you, but really, that's not what I'm looking for...

What am I looking for, you ask??  Some new friends from afar...female...around my age to share in the joys and sorrows of life, to share funny stories, to share dreams and hopes, to swap recipes and fun little gifts.  I love writing letters and would love to get back into that habit!  I love to travel...although I haven't done much of that in the last couple years.  I'm hoping that will change soon!  I have been to some fun places and hope to revisit those and also expand to new places!  I love taking photos, thunderstorms, new pens and stationery, singing, and so many other things!  The little things in life make me smile!  :)  I LOVE to read and always have a book or my Kindle nearby.  :)  I own thousands of books and probably could realistically start my own library!  So, if you think it sounds like we have something in common, just send me a message!  I'd love to hear from you!  Take care! :)

so, so many!  a few favorites - rachael yamagata, finger eleven, led zeppelin, godsmack, missy higgins, kings of leon, sara bareilles, mumford and sons, eddi reader, van morrison, the allman brothers band, gaelic storm, brandi carlile, regina spektor, patty griffin, ingrid michaelson, joshua radin, nick drake, joni mitchell, cat stevens...

so, so many!  a few favorites - almost famous, up, pulp fiction, national lampoon's christmas vacation, shopgirl, snatch, one week, atonement, grave encounters, chasing amy, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, love actually, 500 days of summer, the holiday, the matchmaker, paranormal activity 1, 2 and 3 (they scared the crap out of me!!!), any movie with jason statham (because, seriously, look at him!)...

just discovered some WONderful new shows...thank you Netflix....Mad Men (LOVE it!!) and Breaking Bad are my current favorites!  :)  ghost adventures.  i also like reruns of my old faves...friends.  seinfeld.  king of queens.  and a brand new favorite...destination truth.  also, some i'm looking forward to seeing again in the fall - homeland (excellent show!), grimm, once upon a time, dexter...

so, so many!  a few favorites - the poisonwood bible, the shack, the road, anything by harlan coben or kristin hannah, the fault in our stars, carry yourself back to me, atonement, a small furry prayer, poetry by pablo neruda and e.e. cummings, the probability of miracles (excellent young adult novel!), juliet, naked, we need to talk about kevin (yes, i'm putting it in my favorites...even though it was quite disturbing)...
