I went to Germany in November/December of 2024, and I am finally feeling like I communicate alright in German. I'm guessing I'm around a B1 level with my German, but I'm self-taught, so I'm sure there are some holes in my knowledge there. I don't speak/write perfectly by any means, but I can generally get my thoughts across in conversation.

I am SLOWLY learning Spanish as well. Really, I haven't been putting any active time into Spanish recently while I get other things in life ironed out. I had a couple classes in high school, but ultimately I don't have enough of a basis yet to hold conversations at all.

I'd love to speak Spanish and Mandarin at a conversational level, but life only gives us so much time!

I'd been doing some vegetable gardening for a couple years, but I'm doing less of it now. I think this year I'm not going to have a garden, or I'll just plant a couple of things. I did plant some sweet cherry trees in our little orchard last year, so that is exciting. Ask me how they're doing in a few more years.

I recently started doing legal transcription for work. It's been a little slow of a process to get up to a speed that will allow it to fully support me, but I have hope.

I do smoke some (Not cigarettes🍀🍃🔥💨). I'm an atheist. I'm probably straight, but maybe bisexual 🤷. I can hold a conversation with many types of people, but be aware that I don't tend to get along as well with racist, homophobic, or transphobic people. I try (and fail sometimes) to not make generalizations.

I'm on here for anything. Language exchange, new friends, flirting/romance, or whatever! Our conversation may last two sentences, or we could end up knowing each other for a lifetime! Oh, and I do not under any circumstances send money to people I've met online!

Anyone with a language in common with me is welcome to message me.  I'm really most interested in speaking with German and Spanish speakers. Bonus points for both haha.

I think it would be interesting to talk to someone who doesn't speak English and knows German as a second language. It would be neat to have to rely on German to communicate with no other common language between us to help.

My German is ROUGHLY at a B1 level and my Spanish is A1 or maybe even a little worse than that lol. But anyone that wants to speak to me in those languages knowing my levels in them is welcome to.

I enjoy reading, but I've always had some trouble reading until recently due to ADHD. Hopefully I can add some more books to this list soon.

I read Gregs Tagebuch (Diary of a Wimpy Kid in German) to improve my German. I think I've read the first two in the series and am halfway through the third, but I've set them down for a few months.
