It’s 1:30 a.m., 25°C—a humid, breathless night with no wind. The moon is hidden by rain clouds, and the stars, as if on holiday, are nowhere to be seen. The sky is an empty sheet of black.
I wish I could share a pair of earphones with someone—one bud each—and listen to the song we both want, hoping this night would last forever. But in a few hours dawn will break, and this feeling will slip into the past, stored away in the warehouse of memory, perhaps never to see the light again.
So many memories have piled up like that. Shall we, now and then, pause time for a moment, take them out, and share them together?
