About Me

I live Wafangdian, China and teach English at the kindergarten level and am interested in meeting people and building relationships and friendships as I am still really new in the country. I study philosophy, linguistics, anthropology and love to talk about ideas, try exotic food and drink as well as hiking and generally having a good time. I can be introverted but most of the time this is trumped by my curiosity. If you are a genuine person I think we will get along.

Requests

I would like to learn Chinese and meet people who love to travel, cook and play. I am most interested in meeting people in China right now so I can make friends where I live and practice my Mandarin, nothing personal.

I would like to learn Chinese. I currently have no knowledge but will soon start working towards it. I have no problem giving English pointers. I studied linguistics and am an English teacher by trade.

Hobbies & Interests

I love music of most all types, from rock to jazz, hip hop, indie, classical and opera. I love to read philosophy, discuss ideas and good stories. Previously I have worked as a teacher and in a warehouse. I love Comedy Bang! Bang! and Scott Auckerman, I never thought that there could be a straight man that would make me laugh so much.
