Hi John, Mahebourg is a nice place to stay except that it is very hot here these days.of course you can go around from here,there are even buses to curepipe and portlouis too.the beach is 10 mins away from the village by bus.I know the place le saladier but honestly i dont know if the service is good.can try to find out and let you know soon.bye for now
