To be honest besides people that study philosophy or history or literature etc, most are not interested in ancient literature and art.
As a Greek I find that fact highly disappointing.

Menander? That's an excellent taste in books (and comedy of course).
I especially like " Βίος βίου δεόμενος ουκ έστιν βίος" which in English could be translated as "the life that is afraid of living, is not a life" and "Βακτήρια εστί παιδεία βίου" which could be "education is the pillar of life".
