I am a retired teacher from the USA, living in Smichov (Prague 5)  and Podoli (Prague 4). Beginning in September 2019 I studied Intensive Czech at Charles University. I passed the A2 level exam in June 2020. I am currently studying B1 level NON-INTENSIVELY.

I love living in Prague! It is a dream come true! I met my future wife  Jitka, here on Interpals in 2017. At the time I was spending the summers in the Czech Republic and she lived in Plzen. We met a few times in both Prague and Plzen as friends for language exchange. In 2018 she met someone else here on Interpals and they had a relationship. In January 2021 she reappeared in my life and we've been together since February 2021. She moved from Plzen to Prague in May 2021. We're getting married in September. :-)

I am very interested in meeting new friends from all over the world, especially from Europe. I loving living in the middle of Europe. Prague is so much different than I where I lived in my previous life.
