Hey Jess,
In Iceland there has not been good weather, like ever!
We get warm days but not as warm as in Spain or the US, but I don't mind, I like it here.
I've been to other warmer countries like Mallorca and Tenerife but I'm more of a "travel in a country person" I don't like sitting on a beach and tanning all day:/
WOW you live in a country, thousand times smaller than Iceland, and you still have a lot more people in there than us???? WHAT??
We only have about 330.000 people, hahaha and you have about one million!that is just amazing!
The best thing I like about my country is the winter:) it is just so nice, you need to look at some pictures at the Glacier Lagoon, it is the most beautiful thing I have EVER seen!!!!
If you want to send me an e-mail next time, my e-mail address is [email protected]

Talk to ya later!

Halló Jess,
Ég heiti Gunnhildur Erla (my name is Gunnhildur Erla), it is very nice to hear that you want to travel here someday, Iceland is a beautiful cauntry, especially where I am now, close to Vatnajökull, the glacier.
Where I live, Kópavogur, is not my favorite place in the world, there are only a bunch of houses and a shopping mall but Reykjavík, the capital is much more exciting, Kópavogur is just outside Reykjavík, than there is Garðabær which is nice, Grafarvogur, Mosfellsbær, Hafnarfjörður and Seltjarnarnes that are like attached to the capital, but what you really want to see when you get to Iceland is the country side of it, it is just AMAZING, I work in a hotel now that is called Fosshotel Vatnajökull and you can see where the glacier stretches out between the mountains, it is SO beautiful! There are also a lot more stuff to do and see in the cauntry side, even though it's a small country, it has a lot of amazing places to see in it! So how about you, where do you live in the USA??

Yes, I went to Dettifoss 2 years ago. It was truly beautiful! I don't like Þorramatur very much mostly I like hangikjöt and laufabrauð and flatkökur.
Have you tried any dishes? What are you doing for the summer?

Especially, since pronunciation is vital when it comes to Icelandic.

It's quite hard to adapt to New York if you weren't born there, or haven't lived here from a young age. It's overwhelming, but you should already know that from visiting.
Haha, nope. I wasn't born here.

'Ello. (: I'm pretty good. Yourself?
In all honest, I know only the bare minimum. I'm probably going to start learning it seriously this summer.

The concert was great! There were two other bands and I liked one of them better than Apparat Organ Quartet. But anyway, Apparat Organ Quartet were awesome!
