The friend who gets emotional or angry with you when you do something that harms you, or when you head down a path that leads only to destruction, that is a true friend.

As for the one who doesn’t care about you and never advises you no matter how many mistakes you make, that is not a true friend. Not everyone who lets you do whatever you like is someone who truly loves you.

You should at least appreciate the brain cells he burns for your sake, because he cares about you. And hold on to him before he leaves or before he becomes one of those people who no longer care what you do, whether it harms you or benefits you.
