i just finished my exams and turned in my paper this week! i scored high on both of my exams. now i'm waiting on my paper! it was very stressful this week so this weekend i took the luxury to just relax, go shopping, and of course sleep sleep sleep!
oh my goodness...i love choco cake!! especially if it is made with dark chocolate! i can magine that your cake was good! and i also went crazy shopping after new years! haha too many good deals!!

school is getting hectic. i have two first exams and a paper due next week! i'm taking harder chemistry and biology courses so i hope that i do well on my first exams!

i feel like for me...Chinese New Year = gain weight week. my family has celebrate two times and we're going to celebrate again on friday! but i guess i cannot complain. good food to eat, and good money to receive! haha although i recently got a parking ticket so that will take away some of my lai si money :(

were the D&G shop being biased to mainland customers or to HK customers? i feel like alot of HK protests are over small things...but i feel like at the same time it is good for them to exercise their political rights. i feel like not enough Chinese people in America do that. so, on the one hand, i'm glad they're being so active politically. but on the other hand, i wish they were more active in meaningful protests and issues -.- like i think that protest in guangzhou was meaningful. the one where they were protesting over the restriction of using cantonese on air. that actually impacts people!

i'm sorry for the really late reply. i've just started school so there's been a lot going on! happy new years by the way! :) are you celebrating?
yeah that kind of law is really interesting! i think it's especially interesting because we are living in a time where a lot of countries are rising up to fight for human rights. we even see people in china doing heavy protesting in order to fight for the people's rights. are there a lot of protests in hong kong? i see it on the news on tvb sometimes.
i think for medical school, it's more about location for me! i want to go to california or new york! it is harder to get into a school that is out of your state. hopefully i will get in *fingers crossed*
do you want to work for a law firm in the end or start your own practice??
