Hi!

I’m Ana, a university student, I live in the Netherlands but I was born in the US aaaaand my parents are Romanian :) (I just shut down whenever someone asks me where I’m from, so I decided to just put it out here)... basically I’m an American/Romanian living in the Netherlands :D

I have lots and lots of interests and I love learning new languages and stuff about other cultures too!
I’m kinda awkward and shy at the beginning but I warm up to people super quickly and get pretty talkative (I’ll talk about anything and I can talk quite a lot too if we hit it off!).
Of course, I’d like to make some good friends too :)
If we get along, I’d be okay with video calling/calling or exchanging some other form of SNS :D
If I view your profile but don’t send a message, it doesn’t mean that I don’t want to talk to you or something, I was probably a bit too shy to send the message first. Ya can totally send a message if ya want, or not if ya don’t want to :) it’s all alright :)))

Also, if you want to learn English/ improve your English, you can tell me and I’ll try to help you! Same goes for if you want to learn Dutch or Romanian :) because I’m of a native speaker level in all those languages hahahah

My replies and stuff are all over the place :0 sometimes I reply within 0.00001 seconds, sometimes within 5 business days, so I’ll apologize for that in advance

Also, for anyone who cares: my MBTI personality type is INTP-A :) (does switch around with ISTP-A sometimes tho)

Honestly I don’t have any specific requirements, I can talk about almost anything and I like to know people’s opinions on certain topics and such!
I love to learn new things too! So feel free to tell me something about your country/language/culture and I’ll tell you something about mine too! :D

Love to read, watch movies, listen to music, bake/cook, journal and travel. Ocasionally I like to go out with friends, visit museums, study (depending on the subject) and go to concerts or play the piano!

my favorites right now are Bring Me The Horizon, 5 Seconds of Summer, The Mono Jacks, 47ter and Chopin, cigarettes after sex :)))

I love movies directed by Quentin Tarantino! They’re pretty cool in my opinion! My favorites are probably Pulp Fiction and Django Unchained
I also like thrillers, action/suspense and animated movies (honestly I like all genres depending on my mood)! If ya have any recommendations, feel free to tell me :)

I’ll read almost anything honestly and my favorite book changes every few weeks! But right now I think my favorites are “Kafka on the Shore”, “The Master and Margarita”, “The Picture of Dorian Gray”, “Pnin”,  “No Longer Human” aaaand “On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous” I also enjoy the metamorphoses  written by Ovidius :)
But I’m always up for reading something new, so don’t hesitate to tell me your favorite book or thing to read :) I’ve recently started reading in French too (I adore Émile Zola), so like, if you have any French books recommendations, they’re super welcome too!
