The healthcare system in Canada is a mess. I can't find a pediatrician for my son. That's insane! The waiting time in the emergency is more than 10h.

Funny how hand gestures have different meanings from country to another. You could easily get in trouble if you don't learn them. In Tunisia, this 🤌 means wait. Don't try it in some other countries lol

Al-Zaitouna, the first university (madrasa) in the world still in operation until today. Al-Zaitouna was built in 737 in Tunis as a mosque and Madrasa. After building many similar institutes in Al-Qairaouen, Tunisia. Al-Qairaouen was the center of science in North Africa.
However, Al-Zaitouna is the only institute that remains until today. After decades, Tunisians built two similar university. One in modern day Morocco, Al-Qaraouyin, was built by a woman. The second oldest university still in operation. And the other one in Cairo, Al-Azhar, by the Fatimids. The third oldest university still in operation.

That's one of the Hadiths I really like and read always.

Abdullāh ibn ‘Abbās reported: One day (when I was a kid) I was riding behind the Prophet ﷺ, and he said: "O boy, I shall teach you some words: Be mindful of Allah and Allah will protect you. Be mindful of Allah, and you will find Him in front of you. If you ask, ask Allah; and if you seek help, seek help from Allah. And know that if the world were to gather together to benefit you with anything, they would not benefit you except with what Allah had already prescribed for you. And if they were to gather together to harm you with anything, they would not harm you except with what Allah had already prescribed against you. The pens have been lifted and the pages have dried.

You may not know this 👋

The greatest desert (or the great Sahara) in North Africa wasn't a Sahara before 10000 years. It was much wetter place. Over 30000 of petroglyphs of river animals were discovered in the middle of Sahara. Scientists discovered animals fossils such as crocodiles, giraffes, and even dinosaurs. Sahara was much lively. And after centuries from now it may return as it was !
