I haven’t been on this site in ages, so I guess it’s time for an updated introduction:

My name's Kim (YES, I know it’s odd for Korean natives, but yeah, that’s actually my first name) and I live in Germany.
I was born in Seoul, South Korea, but raised in Germany.
I have a Master’s degree in English and a Bachelor’s in Korean Studies.

I speak German and English.... and very basic Korean.

This is the non-updated part, which is surprisingly still true ^^

I love travelling and have been to a bunch of places in Europe and due to my 2 exchange years abroad (one in 2003/04 in Baltimore, MD, USA and the other in 2009/10 in Seoul, Korea) I had the chance to see some parts of North America and East Asia.

Where to next? Thinking about Latin America if time and money allows ^^

what else do I enjoy?
mmmh. food! and by food I don't mean to say I like cooking! I like to eat and sometimes to prepare it, but... urgh, I hate doing dishes. Luckily the invention of the dish washing machine has reached a large amount of households by now ^^ including ours!

languages. I took French and Spanish in High School, which basically means I forgot everything ^^ and I took Swedish for 2 semesters at university ... BUT I forgot that as well -_-
never the less, I enjoy studying languages... which is kind of odd as it seems that the majority of it went to waste :/

I don't play any sports or instruments anymore...
I still enjoy going to see concerts and spending time with my friends outside... in the winter I prefer the to stay inside the house as I am always cold (as soon as the temperature drops below 25* Celsius
