Before I let you get on with my profile there's a matter I'd like to address. A lot of you people write on your profiles that you're shy, and that if you've viewed someone's profile without leaving a comment or a message it might not be because you're not interested, but because you didn't know what to say. I understand that, I'm shy myself, but how on earth are the rest of us going to figure out if you wanted to talk to us or not? So if you don't know what to say to me just write... I don't know, "fish" on my wall and I'll take a look at your profile. Thus eliminating the need to be super original to be noticed. Or you can just write what ever you were going to write. I've left an interesting person's profile without a comment many times too, but nowadays I'm trying to do better. So if I view your profile and don't leave a comment, I probably wasn't impressed, but you can still try and make me change my mind. If I leave you a wall post or comment your picture it means I haven't made up my mind about you but would like to find out if you're as nice as you say you are. And if I send you a message it mostly means I think you're really cool. So now that we have that out of the way, feel free to continue.
I find it hard to know what to say when introducing myself. I'm shy and somewhat unsocial, but once I get to know someone I become more talkative. This is probably due to my social anxiety, I view all strangers as potentially hostile.
To start with I have studied gardening, blacksmithing and millinery, and have a MA in Nordic languages and literatures. There are a whole lot of other things I would love to learn, but I can't spend my whole life going from one education to the next, unfortunately.
I enjoy nature and quiet, I like all weathers and all seasons. I'm interested in history, especially specialised history like art history and language history. I like folklore as well, and folk art. I'm interested in pretty much all forms of handicraft and several other creative outlets like painting, drawing, music and writing. I love watching squirrels running around in our backyard. I like ghost stories and creepypastas, but I don't watch horror films. My favourite memes are literary ones that make me feel smart for getting them. My husband is my best friend.
