I am a young 72 year Australian married woman, who is interested in receiving e-mails from penpals in Germany, or other countries in Europe.

Just honest, sincere and friendly people for the purpose of penpals, learning about how other people live, their cultures, views on the world and what is happening in their country, or any other topic that makes for a meaningful conversation.

I am hoping to improve my German skills, and I could help with your English, if that is the case.  I understand almost everything that is written in German, except for some of the long words that are so typical of the German language, but I have the enthusiasm to persist, until I succeed.

I would encourage everybody to learn at least another language besides there native one, it just opens up another level of communication, regardless of your age.  You know, you are never too old to learn.  Anything is possible, you just have to have the passion and the will to achieve.
