About Me
Hi. My name's Pamela. I'm 23, graduated university last summer with a BA Hons in English Language and Literature. Just finished my teacher training and now I teach in an urban school for challenging, under privileged kids.
I was born in South Africa, but was raised mostly in England, despite the fact i am actually a Dutch Gypsy (got a problem with that? fight me!) <3
QUESTION - I notice on a few profile pages, people feel the need to 'number their parentage' - "I'm 1/4 Russian, 1/2 Jewish, 1/16 Sioux". You are who you are :-D and the world loves you for it ;-)Honour your heritage, by all means, but don't let others use it as a means of defining and limiting your potential ~ <3
I the first and only female soldier my Army squadron (that's right, I work with helicopters !)
I LOVE other cultures. I love reading and writing and i plan to be a historical novelist one day- or teach English as a foreign language- hopefully in Japan or China XD-. Yes, i love history, mostly ancient history from other countries :)
A little fun bit of info about me. I'm a Pisces/Aquarius. I was born on the cusp. My favourite colour is Purple (Blue + Pink = Purple!) and I love owls !!
My goal for the future - graduate from university (DONE), becoming a teacher (DONE), at some point travel the world and meet my penpals, and my dream, my massive massive, larger than life dream -(like when people say i want to rule the world !!!)- I want to write a novel that will so amazing and thought provoking that one day, years from now, people will put my name in Westminister Abbey's poets' corner, where all the great writers are honored. That's the dream !
I like history, art, poetry, books - all that jazz! I just want someone to talk to, have meaningful discussions and hopefully fond a long standing bond.

Hobbies & Interests
I like sports such as running, swimming, and kickboxing, which i'm now a purple belt in (watch out boys), hoping to go onto brown belt soon. I'm mad about martial arts, and plan to widen my range as much as possible, experience as much as possible, and have fun doing it !! Recently I've really gotten into horse riding and hope to compete in competitions. Also learning to play to guitar!!
I love other cultures and travel. History, writing and mythology. Some of my favourite culture is Japanese, but still i like the rest and would love to learn about them. As for mythology, all the same, love all sorts, from all cultures and countries, and for history...everything :D and from anywhere. But i mostly like the time periods before the 17-18th century. I love visiting historical places, museums etc. so i guess i am abit of a nerd....with cute freckles =3

Not really much of a movie person. I prefers the books, but some movies are good. Last of the Mohicans, The Missing But also like the hobbit, lord of the rings, pitch perfect, etc. etc. whatever takes my fancy

Favorite Books
I have a wide range. Mostly in the horror or historical section. My favourite books however would have to be, Dracula, by Bram stoker. It's a classic, and any of the works by Kresley Cole. Vlad, the last confession by C.C Humphreys, Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden. I liked Anne Rice's first books, but not so much any more. The portrait of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde is also pretty cool. The art of War by Sun Tzu.
