Day 46 of nice places in germany: Castle Ruin Heidelberg, it is one of the most impressiv Ruins in germany, it got 2 times destroyed in the inheritance war (1688-1697) a conflict between the HRE of german nations and france, due the rebuild in 1764 it got striked by a lightning and burned down, after that there was no attemp to rebuild and it stays like this untill today. The city Heidelberg is also know for it's good university.

Day 45 of nice places in germany: Kloster Weltenburg (monastery worldcastle) it got founded 640 a.d. In the end of the 15th centuary it got redesigned.. it is directly on the Donau it is located near Regensburg and has a brewery who Brews beer simce 1050 and is germanys 2. Oldest brewery. It is also a monastery today.

Day 44 of nice place in germany: The Asamchurch it got build from the Asam brothers from 1733 to 1746, it is considered to be one of the most important buildings by the two main representatives of southern German late Baroque.
Today it got still used as a Christian church it is located in the historical City of munich.

Day 43 of nice places in germany: Castle Braunfels it got build in 1240 as a fortification and got a lot attachmends between the 15th to 17th centuary, it got heavly damaged in the 30years war but quickly rebuild in the beginn of the 18th centuary.
It was a living castle since the 13th centuary from several earls.
Nowdays it is a Museum and a historical place protect due the Hague Convention.
It is located in Braunfels a city of hessen.

Day 42 of nice places in germany: Castle Marburg, it got build as a fortification in the 11th century and got redesigned as a Residenz for the lord of the City Marburg it still is almost fully original from the 13th centuary.. even part from the 11th centuary are still intact.
Today the castle is a Museum and located in Marburg Hessen.

Day 41 of nice places in germany: The Cathedral castle Merseburg, it got started to build in 1050 and finished completly in 1561, 1545 Martin Luther preached in the cathedral.
Due the HRE of german Nations the empire was splitet in over 300 own countrys some ruled by Kings, dukes and lords, some by the church from Bishops.
Since this area was controled by Bishops and not dukes or lords, it was called a bishopric (bishoftum) so the castle was fully conacted to the Cathedral.

Day 40 of Nice place in germany: Schloss Mannheim, it was build from 1720 to 1760 and was the Residenz of the dukes of elector princes of the Palatinate area (lord ans dukes who votet the next emporer of the HRE of german nations)
It is the 2. Biggest Palace in europe and 17th in the world.
Today it is get used mainly as a university and libary, also it used as a concerd hall and the District court is locaded in here as well.
It also has some Museum parts, for example the Throne hall and some Prestige rooms.
It is located in Mannheim Baden-Wuerttemberg.

Der Rattenfänger von Hameln:
There was a Pipe Player who went to the town Hameln, the town had problem with many Rats so the pipe Player told the citizens for money he would lead the Rats out of the City.
The citizens agreed and the pipe Player started to play, Rats and mouses out off every house and holes came out and circeld arround the pipe Player, after he gathered all he lead them to a forrest.
When he came back the people refused to pay him, so the Player went angry away.
Couple das later he came back in a hunter Outfit, while all citizens was in the church he played again his pipe but this time not Rats and mouses came, it was kids and they followed him to a cave, 2 kids was able to escape but one was blind and could not show the cave.
One was deaf and muted and could not talk about the man.
130 children got lost and never was seen again.
