Time for an Update here:
I am now a widow, having lost my husband to cancer 10 years ago.  It was the hardest thing I ever had to do. Being a caregiver and working full time was hard, but I had three wonderful nurses whom I couldn't have done so without their help. Bless them!

I have one awesome son who is married and one beautiful granddaughter that keeps a smile on my face and my heart singing each day!

I'm 65 now, blond going grey, natural curly hair. I lived in the mountains of Pennsylvania moving there in 2003 with a job in hand as they say. :) I am now back on Long Island and am again enjoying all it has.

I am an Artist by education, but making a living and living on that didn't pay the bills so I worked most of my life, and do my craft on the side. I use many different meduims, to write here so we can talk about that in our letters if you wish.

I am a mother of one adult son as I wrote. Whom I am very proud of with all he has done so young in life. And have a good sense of humor as well.

I am looking for a pen pal, and or friends from here or around the world. I love to meet and write to people. And friends say I am a good listener as well as hold up my end of a conversation as well.
Please I am looking for long term pen pals. or true friendship here etc..if you are one who only writes a few letters and then goes dark, please don't waste your time with writing me, and stop someone else
from getting their letter to me..who do want to have a pen pal for long term.

so many things I like to do, I like to try all new mediums in the art world, I collect odd salt and pepper shakers too...taking photos of the wild life here to aid in my drawings and also sent to pen pals to see my world as I love to see theirs. walking, going for a drive, hanging with friends etc.

being a 60's girl :), the Beatles will forever be number one with me...but I love all kinds of music...I listen to classical when I paint-mozart is awesome..rock when I am at work, and Meatloaf when just being me.

Helen Mirren in the Queen was awesome...as was Diane Lane in under the Tuscan Sun..and First Knight with-Sean Connery and Richard Gere...as you can see I like different kinds of movies as well.

Ghost Hunters, Brothers and Sisters, to name a couple.

wow so many, I read a lot about Egypt and the Ancient world - I must haved lived there in a former life.. :)
Dr. Kawass is a wonderful writer I go to his website often to read the lastest but I haven't read one of his books yet, have you>Love Steel' books too ...and books on ghosts, and all things that go bump in the night. lol, I know its odd but its a interesting subject to read about.
