About Me
It's hard one to describe herself, but I am going to say that I am a full time life enjoyer and and a dreamer. I don't think I would survive this world without my love for science, animals and cooking. I also enjoy quiet moments in the presence of my loved-ones. Sharing is not always through words in my opinion.

It's also hard to know what everyone else is like, so what would differentiate me from other people? No idea! I guess I can be quite random and weird, but not in a bad way. I am way too polite sometimes, however I prefer elegance in life. Though I also happily overshare, and think that people lose their childishness for a huge price. Life is not that serious or long after all.

One thing I am not interested chatting about is religion. I see holy books nothing more than history books, and not the most interesting ones, to be honest. I also differentiate religions from beliefs, to me these two are totally different. And I respect beliefs. I hope this is not too offending to anyone : )

I do not use social media as part of my everyday life. I find it very upsetting, indeed.
Requests
When you lose yourself in the rhythm of your favourite music, seek a safe harbour in the hugs of a good friend, or become conscious of the peacefulness of a random moment you're experiencing... There is an emotion there, you recognise it?

This is what all I am about. I want to feel good, I want to surround myself with people who are good, and who let me experience the joy of this world.
Hobbies & Interests
I LOVE cooking, enjoying life with my pets, a bit of gym, hiking and being in nature, swimming.

I read a lot. If you have any recommendations of life-changing books, I am happy to buy them : ) I only read paper copies. I will die from nostalgia and not being able to adapt to this century.
Favorite Music
Too many. I recently love Evdeki Saat (Turkish), Alta Falls, Jorja Smith, Kovacs, No Signal.

All time favourites? My Chemical Romance, Amy Winehouse, Eminem, Muse, 10cc, Dream Theatre, Mor ve Otesi, Teoman, Nil...
Favorite Movies
I don't like watching movies much (I fall asleep in like 2 seconds, and I go to movies just to be able to eat snacks in a dark room, sorry cinephiles).

However, I have got some favourites (which probably are my favourites because I was able to watch them at all):

-An Education
-Leon (The Professional)
-The Apartment (1960)
-Luckiest Girl Alive
-Legend
Favorite TV Shows
-Phi (Turkish)
-Bones
-Young Sheldon
-Kim's Convenience

But again, I can't watch anything for too long, I lose interest.
Favorite Books
Too many, again. Goodreads anyone?

Recent favourite authors: Kristy Capes, Cal Newport, Claire-Louise Bennett, Toshikazu Kawaguchi...
Favorite Quotes
Life-motto quality one from the movie Sabrina (1954):

"Dearest Father,
We shall be graduating next week, and I shall be getting my diploma. I want to thank you now for the two most wonderful years of my life. I shall always love you for sending me here.
It is late at night, and someone across the way is playing "La Vie En Rose". It is the French way of saying, "I am looking at the world through rose-coloured glasses,"  and it says everything I feel. I have learned so many things, Father. Not just how to make vichyssoise or calf's head with sauce vinaigrette, but a much more important recipe. I have learned how to live... how to be in the world and of the world... and not just to stand aside and watch. And I will never, never again run away from life... or from love, either.
I am taking the plane home on Friday, Father. You needn't pick me up at the airport. I'll just take the Long Island Railroad and you can meet me at the train-- the 4:15. If you'd have any difficulty recognising your daughter, I shall be the most sophisticated woman at the Glen Cove Station."
