Hello. My name is Ashley Marie. I am going to be in Seoul in the spring of 2025 and just looking to practice the language, learn about the culture, and make some friends since that is going to be my new home. I am a project manager, writer, and graphic designer. I love learning and reading as well as traveling, exploring, singing, going to museums, dancing, working out, listening to good music, and having a few drinks with good company some times. I am a great cook so I have been told and love entertaining friends by way of dinner parties and just having fun. I also like movies and good shows. So if you are Korean or can speak the language like a native speaker, let's talk and learn from one another.

I am solely interested in platonic friendships meaning in all that it means for regarding friendship that lacks any sexual or romantic components of any kind. It is true untainted friendship. I hope that is concise enough...

Listening to good music, museums, a bit of a foodie, exploring, travel, movies, cooking, hanging out with friends, learning, and reading.

I love good music regardless of the genre. If it sounds good I'll listen. My favorites by far are Reggae, Neo Soul, and Motown. I love Bob Marley. The world needs more music that inspires like he did.

I love comedy, romance, drama, action, thriller and suspense, and mystery anything in movies and books as well.

Greys Anatomy, The Witcher, Bridgerton, hmmmm Noir genre...there are so may types...lets talk about what is good at the moment when we talk. Trade shows to watch. Just really getting into K-Dramas too so Rakuten Viki is my jam right now. I am now watching Itaewon Class, Hotel De Luna, and Twenty One Twenty Five I think it is called. Alchemy of Souls has been great as well! Have grown to love Anime over the years also.

So many to choose from I don't know where to start actually. I like webtoons too.
