Just curious, but does your research (genealogy) often take you to the UK? I mean, not in a literal sense .. looking through family history records from the UK, I mean?
A few years ago I was researching my mum's family, who mainly lived in the Sussex/Surrey/Hampshire area of the UK, and managed to trace one line back to the mid 1500s. Although I 'cheated' in a sense, because every time I hit a complete block, I just followed a slightlly different line back. But it was honestly a lot of fun and also very, very addictive.
