I’m a largely happy, easy going and open person who is fascinated by human nature and people’s stories.
I’m very happily married and an enormously proud dad to the most amazing six year old girl/boy twins. My daughter is autistic and has ADHD, sensory processing difficulties and a severe learning disability. Having a child with additional needs is life changing, but we try to do the best we can and educate ourselves as much as possible.
Some of the things I love include the outdoors, walking, running (especially trail running!), cycling, strength training, music, reading, documentaries and big and meaningful conversations.
Making friends as an adult seems so much more difficult than it ever did as a kid. Despite being in the midst of a loneliness epidemic and craving community more than ever, we seem to have so many more preferences and parameters than we ever did before. Please feel free to message me - I really don’t mind if you don’t know what to say, a simple hello is plenty good enough. I don’t mind how old you are, some of the people I’ve got along with best in life are twice my age or more. I don’t mind what you look like because I can guarantee it’s the least interesting thing about you. I don’t mind your gender, who you love, what you believe, how you identify or where you’re from - all are very welcome.
September by Earth, Wind and Fire is the greatest song of all time and that’s a hill I’m prepared to die on.
Favorite Movies
The amount of movies I haven’t seen is pretty embarrassing so any recommendations for when I decide to embark on my movie education would be much appreciated.
Favorite TV Shows
Mostly documentaries, especially if they happen to involve Louis Theroux.
