About Me
Hi, I'm Juan Manuel from Buenos Aires, Argentina, in South America. I'm straight, and I'm here not just to chat, but to build meaningful friendships and connect with people from around the world.

I'm especially interested in practicing English which I speak fluently as well as learning other languages like German and Russian. I believe language learning is much more enriching when it comes with cultural exchange and real conversations.

I'd love to connect with people from countries related to my heritage Slovenia, Austria, England, Spain, and the Veneto region but I'm equally excited to meet people from other countries too.

I love traveling, and learning about history and arquitecture bulding, people, culture, etc.
Whether it's through writing or speaking, I believe that genuine friendships are built with patience, empathy, and mutual understanding.

Since childhood, I’ve explored almost every province in Argentina except Tierra del Fuego (Fireland), the province of the end of the world a just one pass of Antartica and I’ve also had the opportunity to travel abroad.
I traveled abroad in 2017 to  some countries in europe and before the pandemic, and after it, I visited a few places in the United States.

I'm passionate about sports, technology, videogames, photography, architecture, and everything related to construction and design, etc.

Write me if you have any questions about me and my country.

------------------- ABOUT OF MY COUNTRY ----------------
Many people have asked me about Argentina—some don't know much about it, and others wonder whether it's a third-world country or part of Latin America. My answer is: not exactly. Argentina is culturally and historically distinct from many other countries in the region.
We are the homeland of Queen Máxima of the Netherlands, the former Pope Francis, and Lionel Messi. Alongside the United States and Canada, Argentina has one of the strongest middle classes in the Americas. Around 90% of Argentinians are of European descent, mainly from Italy, Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom and Ireland, France, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Armenia, Austria, and other parts of Central and Eastern Europe, including the Balkans.
Cities like Buenos Aires and many others across the country reflect this heritage, with architecture and urban planning inspired by European styles. While Argentina is often grouped with Latin America, many Argentinians feel culturally distinct from that label.
Between 1860 and 1950, Argentina was considered one of the most important and prosperous nations in the world alongside the United States, the United Kingdom, Prussia (now Germany), the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the Russian Empire, and Belgium.
Geographically, Argentina is incredibly diverse. It has deserts, glaciers, mountains, forests, jungles, and more. In terms of topography and size, it's comparable to the United States.
We're globally recognized for many things: we're one of the world's leading beef exporters, and our passion for sports especially football—is legendary. In 2022, Argentina won the FIFA World Cup against France.
Mass European immigration began around 1860, well before World War I, with Italians and Germans arriving in large numbers. By the late 1800s and early 1900s, Italian and German speakers outnumbered Spanish speakers in some regions. The European immigrant population even surpassed the native-born Spanish-descendant population, which was around 300,000 at the time.
Argentina officially declared independence in 1816, although the last Spanish governor was removed in 1810. Spain did not recognize Argentina's independence until 1870.
Requests
I try to respond quickly sometimes, sorry if I take a while to reply.

I understand that some people may speak quickly or even have different conversations, and I try to respect the timing of people from other countries because it's not the same as mine, I believe.
