Thank you, Arigato. Watching American films and TV dramas are, I believe, the best way for me to learn English. Besides, I enjoy this learning method a lot. The comedy show Friends is the best, so far. Joey was my favorite character, by the way. Currently I watch Smallville on DVD. This afternoon, I watched a Japanese film titled Okuribito (おくりびと), Departure (is its English title). I heard this film won one of the Oscar this year? Anyway, it was such a beautiful film and my wife and I couldn't stop laughing and crying. I liked it a lot. Well, I hope you have a peaceful weekend. ---Atchee

Genji Monogatari is a wonderful choice to study and translate. Good luck ;) I've been to Buffalo, New York before. It was the summer of 2000. I had a short bus tour there. I'm curious how you became interested in Japanese language. I became interested in English since I fell in love with Hollywood movies when I was 5? 4?. Shooting my movies (I write screenplays) in Hollywood has been and is one of my dreams. ---Atchee

Thank you very much for saying nice things about me and my family. Arigato. It took me a long time before I became okay with reading Chaucer's English without a Japanese translation. It's not yet easy for me at all though. Is it Tuesday morning in America? I hope you have a nice day. ---Atchee

Pen Pal wa Nihongo de nan desu ka?

Konnichiwa, Hajimemashite! O genki desu ka? Nihongo ga SUKOSHI hanasemasu. Kana / Romaji ga sukoshi wakarimasu. (Kanji ga Wakarimasen.) Kakinasai.

I would like a pen pal to improve my Japanese. I am 37 years old, married with 2 daughters. I can help you learn English. I prefer snail mail, so I can practice writing kana. I hope to hear from you! Arigatou Gosaimasu! Ja mata!
