Hi I'm Josh, but my mates call me Lowy :) Been on and off here for the past 15 years.. it almost seems as if this has been a constant for so much of my life, even if sometimes I don’t touch it for a year or two. Had some pretty awesome friendships come from this - here's to many more!

About me.. well, I was born in Singapore but moved to Australia when I was a kid. I was in the army for 2 years when I turned 18 due to compulsory military service in Singapore. It was difficult but it makes you a stronger person when you have to go through some pretty rough stuff. I've spent my whole life travelling, and can never stay for very long in one spot before wanting to explore ;) and I'm currently in the process of writing a book about my exploits.

I live for adventure and YOLO moments, like the time I climbed the 3000m high Dachstein Glacier in Austria without safety equipment and just my bare hands. So yeah I like to live on the edge.. it's a nightmare for my parents but I'm sure they'll get used to it... eventually.

I love TRAVELLING and exploring the world, and have lived in Singapore, Australia, India, Italy and Croatia (and Brazil too if staying with a family for 3 weeks or so counts?) and achieved my aim of visiting every continent in the world before I turned 25, just a few weeks before my 25th birthday - which I then spent in the amazing Mexico City at the Basilica de Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe.

I now work full time as a journalist based in Perth, and I take every chance I get to go off exploring the world...

- Partying in Ibiza
- Watching Kobe Bryant live in his last season
- 34 hour straight bus ride through Mexico.. ugh
