Sorry for my late reply. It's been interesting growing up in Chicago. I really love this city and though it may be known for some negative things, it's truly a beautiful city.

Well I guess you're right saying that. You are brought up as part of the church, but not many take it seriously anymore. You have 2 big events as a young person, getting communion for the first time and getting confirmation. But you get a **** load of money on those two occasions so thats what the kids care about. At 8 and 12 you don't even know whats going on!! St Paddy's day is just a massive drinking session, the church doesn't really come into it at all. I don't know what I was asking to be honest, I'm fucked up tired so whatever came to my head, got typed on the keyboard! Sleep is definitely on the cards, bed bound.. and gagged!!! :P

No one really cares anymore, its not really forced on you. The catholic church has massively lost its influence on the country, due to all the controversies. There's no need to really go on about them, we all know!! How are things in Ethiopia? All good, ya?
