Yea that is true. Czech and Slovak language are very similar. If you know one of them you don't have problem understand the second one ;) A lot of words are the same. I like spanish but no as much as english. I just try it

I listen to a Czech radio daily at my work (through the internet) and I'm already habituated with the sounds :) Once a Czech penpal told me that Slovakian would be practically the same than Czech, but spoken a bit slower... is it true?
