Yes we have a Dorint hotel, it's located on the other side of river Rhine in Deutz, just opposite Hohenzollernbrücke and the Cathedral. (I had been thinking you stayed longer and in some flat, since in your last wall message you had written "we did stay there 1 year").
I'm fine thank you, tonight together with several of my friends (some of which leave for Christmas holidays tomorrow) we had an extended Christmas party.

Wow, one year!? Then of course you know "my" city very well already! That's great. And the city is, too! ;-)))
Which part of Cologne were you living in when staying here? The "proper" side (Rhine-wise, I mean), or the "Schääl Sick"? ;-)
Yes, the chocolate museum is fantastic, one of a kind. And they always come up with new ideas for exhibitions etc. I marvel at the job they are doing there.

So you have been to Cologne as well, I trust? At least, if you went to Bonn (which with many a twinkle in the eye we Cologners call "a dead spot") without stopping at nearby Cologne, I would protest! :-)) (just jokin' of course)
they are aredale terriers, sisters from 2 different litters, same parents
Yes Emma, there are quite a few cities with fine Christmas markets over here. Which places did you go? The one in Dresden (East Germany) is particularly nice, I visited there once last year. Possibly you also went to Nürnberg? Haven't been there yet but it is said to be Germany's most famous one. Possibly overcrowded, then... the latter even happens here at Köln these weekends, and then it kind of ceases to be fun. But the illuminations are everywhere, and that's what I like most about this season.
Hello Emma, yes they are actually, Cologne has several of them, and they are all brightly illuminated. They might get a bit crowded in the evenings, but all the glow and the lights are so lovely, I like that a lot.
hello my best it ia long timn i have not see you how are you are you find
