Born in the city of Hamburg, happily married, no children, meanwhile for some time pensioner, I'm 2.02 (6.7) meters tall. I lived in many German cities and in small villages. I'm glad to live now already more than 30 years in “Bad Essen” in the north-west of Germany not far from the North Sea and the Netherlands.

I like to live there in a small town near a major city. "Bad Essen" has about 15,000 inhabitants. Our county town of “Osnabrück”, 18 miles away has about 170,000 inhabitants.“Bad Essen” is located in the heart of the park Terra Vita in the country at the beautiful area of the German Framework Road. The historic city centre with church square, with old water mill and the marketplace is dominated by a cosy atmosphere.

The location is ideal for walking, for example path of the dinosaurs in the middle of the forest. A network of bike trails through meadows and fields takes you to some castles or moated castles.

I love sports. Up to my 50th Years I have actively pursued sports. For a long time was the sport the most important part in my life. My sport was Indoor handball. I am interested in any kind of sport, and pursuing different kinds as a hobby. Now it must be fun to me. It should not be too strenuous. I am no longer the youngest.

No romances. I'm only interested in long-lasting friendships. Meetings or visits should not be excluded.

Music of sixties, seventies and the eighties, Soul, Classic and hard Rock, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Steamhammer,  Dire Straits, Jethro Tull, Al Stewart, Steely Dan, Santana, Supertramp, Yes, Boston, Foreigner, 10cc, Cream, Fleetwood Mac, Them, Eagles, Beatles and of course Pink Floyd.
